| Introduction | I am currently a teacher at Carlthorp School in Santa Monica. Growing up during the Space Age in the 50s and 60s, I have always been fascinated with space exploration. It is my goal to pass that fascination on to each of my students. Hopefully, one or more of them will become an astronaut and continue to carry NASA's dreams into space. As physicist Stephen Hawking said, "To confine our attention to terrestrial matters would be to limit the human spirit." |
