| Introduction | I live in the foothills of the Waitakere Ranges in Auckland, New Zealand, with my husband David, and 4 dogs, Kama, Tara, Diara and Toby, plus a handful of tropical fish. I am currently exploring fibre arts (actually, a trip back in time): spinning, weaving and making and restoring the tools needed. Occasionally I also do woodturning, and some woodworking/carving. I previously using a variety of media in art-making, including rust-dyeing, encaustic, acrylic paint, natural and man-made materials. I'm trying to spend less time reading about art, and spend more time actually making art. I enjoy doing HAED cross-stitch, with 3 patterns currently in progress. |
