| Introduction | Dr. Ranjan is a non traditional psychiatrist, who believes in common sense intervention techniques. He has been committed to educating the public on emotional and relational issues of life. Dr. Rakesh Ranjan is President of Rakesh Ranjan, MD & Associates, Inc. and Executive Medical Director and Founder of Charak Clinical Research Center. He has been involved with clinical research for 15 years, Dr. Ranjan has been the principal investigator for over 100 clinical trials. In addition to his other roles, Dr. Ranjan provides clinical care to patients on a daily basis. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is one of few research physicians certified by the American Council of Research Professionals (ACRP). He serves on the Advisory Board of the local chapter of National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)and he is involved in educating the public and increasing awareness of mental illness. His private practice provides services to people of all ages. |
