IntroductionI started this blog before my 6 week backpacking trip through Europe, in honor of Uncle Traveling Matt from Fraggle Rock. Now I am just blogging about travelling through life as a newly-single woman in an American metropolis. This is about my everyday search for love, beauty, and inspiration. Welcome aboard.
Interestssinging in my band, singing in the shower, yoga, reading, writing, eating Indian and Ethiopian food, travelling, laughing till it hurts, driving to very loud music, watching my students learn something new, playing vintage Nintendo games, riding a bike down big hills with no hands, killing big scary bugs all by myself so I can feel proud
Favorite moviesAmelie, Junebug, Once, Frida, All the Real Girls, Little Miss Sunshine, Forrest Gump, Clueless, Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin, Wedding Crashers, When Harry Met Sally, The Breakfast Club, The Royal Tennenbaums, The Cosby Show (does that count?)

How do you pronounce the 'g' in bologna?

Well anyone who grew up in front of a T.V. set in the 80's knows that "My ba-lo-nee has a first name, it's O.S.C.A.R. . ." Duh. There's no 'g' sound, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.
