| Introduction | There has been a Library in La Cygne, KS for over 100 years. It first started in store fronts of the businesses owned by the Zeta Zeta members, then in the early 1900's, they built a small library (which you can visit today at the Historical Society). In the 1960's, it became a city library and was soon moved from the Zeta building to the Allen Building which was donated to the city. In 1975 it became a district library, and an addition was built on to the Allen Building. In 2007, the library was built at the current location across the street from the orginal libraries. |
