About me

Introduction January 29. 2010 our world was turned upside down when we found our son George unresponsive in his bed. Despite efforts of all those involved he earned his wings that morning. That left our family in unfamiliar territory trying to make sense of this "new normal". We remain strong and keep our angel in our hearts. After looking for an organization to help our oldest son, we found Comfort Zone. Children are often the lost grievers and there are very few resources for them. Comfort Zone was not only instrumental in helping our son but our entire family. We were at a loss as to how to help our children when we could barely help ourselves. Richard wanted to raise money so that other kids who had to deal with such a tragedy would have a safe place to grieve. Our family would like to aide Comfort Zone Camp in their efforts to help those who find themselves in our situation. 1 in 8 children will loose a parent or sibling by the age of 20! Comfort Zone is completely no charge to the family. Nothing will bring our angel back and we cannot cure death but we can keep his memory alive and be the very example that gives hope to so many others. www.georgegarman.blogspot.com
