What's the best time you've ever had licking stamps?
When I first started doing mortgages, Alisa and I would watch TV and stuff envelopes. This was before self-sticking envelopes. One day we experimented with a wet rag to moisten the envelope. This saved us from future tongue paper cuts and George Kastanza's girlfriend's fate. While they were not stamps, my answer lies within the spirit of the question.
