Introduction	Memories and stories. We are lucky to have them. I hope you enjoy mine, and that you smile and laugh a little. I had several teachers along the way that fanned the flames of creativity. Dr. Stephen K. Clark taught English Composition at Motlow. Weldon Payne taught a creative writing class at Motlow that I enjoyed. .At Coffee County Central High, Mrs. St. Clair, and Mrs. Everett demanded that we know how to construct a sentence. And Jimmy Jones taught the only art class I ever had. I'm thankful for these people! Many others either helped me along the way, or gave me a pass because they didn't understand me. Either way, here we are. I hope you enjoy the ride with me. Most of all, I hope your own memories and thoughts might be stirred up until you just have to write your stories down as well.
