| Introduction | I'm a long-term vegan trying to improve my eczema and general health with the anti-candida diet. After doing a 3-week cleanse and cutting all sugar, yeast, grains, fermented foods (et al.) out of my diet, I've seen marked improvement in my skin, and my digestion has improved as well. I am at the point now where I actually enjoy my diet, and appreciate the lessons I have learned about food and health. I feel quite liberated not depending on sugar and carbohydrates as I did previously, and I've become much more attuned to the wide variety of simple foods that can be incorporated into a vegan diet. I am writing this blog as I go along because I've become all too aware of how little the internet has to offer about following the anti-candida diet as a vegan. The recipes here are not very complex, and I rarely provide measurements (because I don't measure ingredients myself), but I hope that they will inspire other candida-plagued vegans and give some hope to those just starting this difficult diet. |
