Introduction	"Running is a big question mark that's there each and every day. It asks you, 'Are you going to be a wimp or are you going to be strong today?'" - Peter Maher, Canadian marathon runner In 2008, my mom was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Like the quote above, there were many question marks at the end of each day once we became aware of her diagnosis. To help raise awareness and funds for research, I am committing to running 1,000 miles over the course of a year. Sponsoring $1 per mile can help us all fight this disease.
