| Introduction | William has been coding since he was twelve years old when he's got his first super duper computer: a Tandy TRS-80 with 64k of memory! William got his first job in 1995 working with Visual C++ and Delphi on Windows. He later worked for a healthcare systems company on a n-tier architecture using DCOM and more Microsoft crap. (remember the good old check-in/check-out of Visual SourceSafe?) Since 2002, William have been working mainly with PHP and MySQL. Although he misses the good old time of Oracle and real data integrity, he's been pretty happy with the performance of PHP/MySQL in general. In 2007, William started using Zend Framework (thanks, Vero!) and it pretty much changed his life. He never thought some of the beauty of Microsoft .NET or Java frameworks would come to PHP! |
