Introduction I'm a 33-year-old father of two toddlers (a girl who's three and a son who just turned 1 year), and I've just came to the decision that I am sick of feeling the way I do when I sit down, bend over, put on a pair of pants, not to mention how I look in a bathing suit making me "sick". I grew up competitively swimming and when that was over (after college) I began weight training and I have followed a clean bodybuilder's diet in the past and I know HOW TO EAT and how to exercise, but after having kids, it's become even more difficult, especially those evenings when making dinner is just "so much more difficult than ordering a pizza" or "eating what the kids will like". I'm out of excuses, so I've begun P90X Lean for the 1st 3 month round and I will move onto the "regular" routine after completing the Lean. I have a general fear of destroying a doorway doing pull-ups at 240 lbs. I'd like to lose about 40 lbs and get back to a solid 200 or lower. I know it'll take time, effort, and no excuses, but I KNOW I can do it. This is about ME, my health, and my fitness, which in turn will create a more positive lifestyle for my family.
Interests My family: My two beautiful children, my wonderful and beautiful wife, and extended family including parents, in-laws, niece, and close friends. I'm also interested in fantasy sports, working out (attempting), home DIY projects, sports in general but favorite teams include the Ravens & Orioles, Tottenham Hotspurs, Washington Capitals, Chicago Bulls, and that's just the "major" sports.
Favorite Movies Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, The Matrix Trilogy, and I could name about 1, 000 more movies I completely LOVE.
Favorite Music Disturbed, Sevendust, AlterBridge, Avenged Sevenfold, Killswitch Engaged, and I could name 100's of other bands both rock & country that I love.
Favorite Books Catcher in the Rye, Alex Cross Series by James Patterson, Anything Stephen King (even though his books are so long and detailed), and biographies (mostly sports figures).
