| Introduction | When The Sun Hits is a shoegaze and dreampop oriented blog co-founded in 2010 by close friends & feedback enthusiasts Amber Crain & Danny Lackey. Though Danny sadly passed away in January of 2013, Amber continues to run WTSH, still dedicated to their original vision of exposing new & underground artists of these genres to the world. Alongside Amber, acting as Senior Editor, Dan Joy now serves as Assistant Editor of WTSH. Ellie Sleeper is Lead Writer/Contributor. A revolving cast of guest writers make up the remaining blog staff. Amber also has several other projects under the WTSH moniker. She currently DJs the weekly shoegaze & dreampop radio program When The Sun Hits for the internet-based station DKFM Shoegaze Radio.
