Introduction	For the past 34 years Robyn has worked in museums and loves her work (most days!). She has a background in historical archaeology and began working life as a teacher. Gardening is the current reigning passion and macro photography but she has enjoyed most forms of textile craft, cooking and travel for most of her life. She is fascinated by the natural world and always interested in traditional/folk crafts and music. Alvin is a retired lawyer who drafted law for the Australian Commonwealth and Australian Capital Territory (ACT) governments. He was born in England, studied in Wales and Melbourne - but holds Canadian citizenship through his Canadian father and has a lifelong love of Canada. He is interested in societies, culture and language, and continues to study several languages, including Welsh. He is also involved in Australian Capital Territory community politics.
