| Introduction | My name is Nicole – I was named after Saint Nicholas, also known as Santa Claus or Father Christmas I was born and raised in inner-city Chicago, low-income housing – worst area on the North side! Currently live on the outskirts of Peoria in the middle of a corn field… It’s AWESOME, I am very blessed! There are 6 kids in my family – 5 girls and 1 boy! My family is a huge part of me, I love them all very much despite our ups and downs. My father is from Lima, Peru and my mother is Irish and German who was born into a up-scale Chicago family. One day I will write a book about my family starting with the insanity of how my parents met! There are many people in my book of heroes but my parents are at the top of the list. Hands down. I’m in college majoring in English with a minor in Secondary Education. I would like to be a high-school English teacher one day. Right now I feel like God is calling me to return to an urban area, much like where I grew up and teach there. I’m very excited. Last but far from least… I love God very much and hope that in each passing day my relationship with Him will grow. He is my begining and my end, I owe Him everything. |

| Favorite music | I don't have a favorite... I love it all! From Gospel and Rap to Country and Classical. I'm always open to new sounds and new bands! |
| Favorite books | Aside from the books of the Bible, I love the work by C.S. Lewis, Lee Strobel, Jack London, Thomas Aquinas.... oh my goodness the list is way to long! |
