Introduction	Pui-Quan Cheng was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Northern California. She studied photography and oil painting at the University of California at Santa Cruz. After moving to San Francisco, she went on to work at the Friends of Photography / Ansel Adams Center for Photography. Later, she received her Masters in Education from San Francisco State University. Pui-Quan currently lives in San Francisco, where she teaches middle school students how to tap into their creative minds through history and writing.
