| Introduction | WXBC is Bard College's student-run, free-form, uncensored radio station. The station provides original broadcasting to the campus and the surrounding community for 14 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the academic year. Bard College Radio was founded in 1947 as a Senior Project and has gone through many incarnations since. Its current studio space, completed in 2004, is located in the basement of Manor, an on-campus residence hall in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY. WXBC is broadcast over a legally-operating, unlicenced radio signal on 540AM from [an antenna atop Reem Kayden Science Center at a signal of 5 watts.] For the convenience of off-campus listeners, Bard College Radio is broadcast online at wxbc.bard.edu. |
