| Introduction | At our wedding, we received a pressure cooker as a gift. Though I had never used one, I felt well equipped to tackle that baby for a good old English Sunday roast(to impress my new hubby of course). My potatoes were boiling away, then BOOM went the pan, exploding mash potato goodness all over. Potatoes strewn everywhere, the ceiling dented, you couldn't help but laugh. Why do I recount that? Well, I feel like that pressure cooker. For years I have had things "boiling", but an explosion happened. I can't leave my creative endeavours on the side burner anymore, they have exploded all over my life. My hunger for learning new skills and mastering the ones I have, is all I can think about. Just like not knowing how to use a pressure cooker, there are things that I still don't know how to do, but I am trying. Join me in my creative pursuits, and watch as I dibble & dabble in bits of everything. I am a mother to 3, a wife to 1. I have lived all over the place but moving to England at 14 was defining in my life. I attended the National Design Academy there and learned to appreciate color in a new way.I love my life, my family, and the quiet moments in the day when I can create. |
