Introduction	On January 8, 2010, I felt lightheaded and imbalanced. I thought I was getting sick since it was flu season. So, the next day, I stayed home and relaxed, but later that evening, I started vomiting uncontrollably to the point I was rushed to a nearby hospital. Hours after being admitted into the ER and going under a CT scan, I was diagnosed with a cerebral cavernous malformation located inches away from my brain stem. It was the reason why I slowly began to lose my balance, endured constant spinning sensations, motion sickness, and etc. I was scheduled for brain surgery in March. The first "micro-surgery" was unsuccessful as the size of the bleed was larger than they had anticipated. So, it was decided I'd go under the knife (the old fashion way) for the second time and this time the cut was 4 inches long. I was finally discharged from the hospital after staying for 3 long and dreadful weeks; and that was the beginning of my struggle to a normal life. Thus, I'm trying my hand at blogging about my daily occurrence as I slowly recover.
