| Introduction | I am a Mom. My son is going to be a teenager very soon. He is totally ADHD and we are learning every day how to help him. It's been a long journey and I have worried about him so much. But, he is growing up and I see positive changes in him every day. He has become quite entertaining and somewhere along the line he picked up a very witty personality that was hidden under all of the unhappiness that he once had. I love that I can enjoy his company now. I have a unique daughter that is getting ready to graduate from High School. She is very smart, very open with me about things that I cringe at sometimes...but glad that she has that trust in me. I could not be prouder of her. I have a musician husband that has a day job as well. He is my children's stepfather, but the only one they remember living with them. They have a great relationship with their father, as well. We are all lucky for that. I have family that I see on holidays even though we all live within a 20 mile radius of each other. I don't have a best friend and I can only assume that is my fault. Maybe I don't try hard enough. I think I will regret that one day. |
