Introduction	This is my ninth year teaching kindergarten in the Westonka School District and my twelfth year in the field of Education. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher because, while growing up, I was always the new student every four years. My teachers were the ones who always made me feel immediately welcome to my new environment and I want to give that back to the students in my classroom today. I feel honored to be a part of the Shirley Hills teaching staff and kindergarten team. Besides teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Joel and my daughter and family and friends. I also love to travel both near and far (all over the world), read various genres of books, cook, try new recipes, live a healthy lifestyle, knit, paint, watch movies, decorate and design my home, garden, appreciate various types of art and dabble in photography.
