Introduction	I am a wife, mom and music teacher. When I got engaged 4 years ago, I warned my husband that I did not cook. "I bake" I told him, and only enjoyed it if I could lick the bowl when I was done. I have come a long way since then. Although I have begun to develop my own skills in the kitchen, I am still struck with amazement when just the right amount of heat, or that extra 10 seconds with an egg beater suddenly causes magic to occur. My philosophy is simple. I cook foods which are fresh, from scratch whenever possible, and simple. Like most of us, I lead a busy life and don't have the luxury of cooking foods which are too fussy, or which take 25 ingredients, half of which I have never heard of before. I need food that is quick and easy to cook with great tasting results. I hope this blog will inspire you with new ideas and some simple, tasty treats. Bon Appetit!
