Introduction I am Professor of Biology at Dordt College, a Reformed college in Sioux Center, Iowa. My Ph.D. in Biochemistry was obtained from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, in 1988. Since then I have conducted cancer research in England, neuroscience research in Montreal, taught Biology at Atlantic Baptist University in New Brunswick, before coming to Dordt in 2000. My training is in molecular biology and I have an interest in Developmental Biology. I have been following the creation-evolution debate for many years and my position (if that helps you know where I stand) has changed from a young earth creationist to an old earth creationist and a supporter of Intelligent Design. Although I am presently a member of the United Reformed Churches of North America, I grew up in the Canadian Reformed denomination and it is still close to my heart.
