| Introduction | I grew up in Florida, North and South Carolina - go Bucs, Gators, Blue Devils, Tar Heels and Tigers! I currently reside, with my wife, Lori, and our 4 children, in Norfolk, Nebraska. I received credentials with the Assemblies of God in 2004 and am currently a Chaplain at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, NE. |

| Favorite movies | I’m a guy – if it moves on a screen, I can connect my brain in such a way that the world could crumble around me and I would be completely oblivious, just ask my wife. Really, I like all movies from Gone With the Wind to Glory, Last of the Mohicans to Sleepless in Seattle, French Kiss, Dumb and Dummer, The Game, The Matrix, Dead Poets Society, Gone in 60 Seconds, Fast and Furious, Napoleon Dynamite, Cars…don’t even get me started into the kid’s movies! |
| Favorite music | I have this uncanny ability to listen to and enjoy almost all types of music, except for opera. Some of my current favorite artists include: Aerosmith, The Farm, Van Halen, Darius Rucker, Charlie Daniels, Queen, Lynard Skynard, Audio A, Mercy Me, Salvador, Petra…the list goes on. I’ve played trumpet in a variety of venues since 1988. My favorite trumpet players/mentors/influencers are Chet Baker, Maynard Ferguson, Doc Severinsen, Arturo Sandoval, Miles Davis, Phil Driscoll, Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Armstrong, Chris Botti, and Wynton Marsalis. |
| Favorite books | Books, like professional sports, are things that I thoroughly enjoy, I just don’t make the time for them that I should. However, when I can connect with an author, I’ll generally make some effort to read all of his/her books. I love the supernatural thrillers of Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker. I like Dan Brown and John Grisham. I also like the romantic suspense novels of Dee Henderson. Other authors I enjoy are Mark Batterson, Andy Stanley, Doug Fields, Steven Furtick, and Craig Groeschel. |
