| Introduction | I and my brother Derrick were diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia as babies. Derrick passed away at the age of 28. I am advocating to improve the quality and quantity of life for those diagnosed with sickle cell. If we can bring a human perspective to what we endure then we can garner financial support for research, treatments, and a cure. |
