| Introduction | Always had a love of wildlife from an early age, my dad took us down to east Cram looking for frogs, toads and newts. This carried on over many years at family caravan in bamburgh. Can remember me mam and dad getting my first camera when i was about 7 or 8 and struggled to get any decent pics tho this was my first taste of photography!! Took up watching wildlife again after uni walks in a local wood and surrounding fields led me to many hours spent watching grass snakes, little owls, foxes, muntjac deer etc and have been hooked ever since!! This led me to change my career path and focus on working outside in the country and took me back to college!! Lucky to get a job through work experience during my time at college which has helped me see a variety of wildlife and birds working in lots of different woods and forests. Am fortunate to have seen many great wildlife encounters (stoat chasing and killing a rabbit, fox cubs, Badger and cubs many young deer fawns, Owls Barn, little, tawny, short and long eared all good sightings). Long may these sightings continue the sadder I become lol |
