| Introduction | Author of Three Books. Two published. Heaven and Earth and In Between. Book One and Heaven and Earth and In Between. Book Two. I am a retired nurse/cardiac ultrasound technologist, registered in neonatal, pediatric and adult hearts. I hold an Associates Degree in Biblical Studies. I was born in Fort William (Thunder Bay, Ontario) spending all of my childhood on the grounds of the Mental Hospital. My father was a Chef there and we, along with the Superintendent and the Chief Engineer, had homes that were supplied by the Government. As a child, we spent most of our summers on a houseboat out in Lake Superior. At the age of three I learned to swim on my own when I fell off the side of the houseboat and had to swim around to where the ladder was. On arriving in the dining room, all wet, needless to say it came to a shock to my parents what had happened. I had a wonderful, lively, loving, childhood. Would not trade it for all the gold in the world. Such memories to take me through all my days! |
