| Introduction | Greetings. My name is Meena. I was putting on lipstick without a mirror at 5, fascinated with transformation. Imagining clowns without their makeup, how movie monsters are created and just how much our appearance is a projection of ourselves and therefore our warpaint is of ourselves too. However that subtle or no- so subtle paint makes us look and feel, it has meaning and I intend to speak it's language as fluently as what I type on this blog! I'm always looking for excellent photographers and models to slave for ;) and am learning more everyday. Some of what I learn I will pass onto this blog and hopefully help others speak the language of beauty, transformation and overall expression, while making it a bit safer, easier, and more fun to do so! I work in Columbia, MO as an esthetician and makeup artist. I pride myself on obsessive sanitation practices and accomodating those with special makeup needs, like vegans, those with allergies, and perfectionists. |
