| Introduction | My name is Katie Meader. I am a 1970's Guernsey-girl born and bred. I live in Round Chimney with my husband Ben and naughty cat, Smokey. I'm just obsessed with colours and all things pottery! I set-up Round Chimney Pottery in 2009, decorating white earthenware Bisque in the forms of jugs, plates, mugs, bowls etc and making the occasional quirky sculpture from clay. I decorate and hand-dip each piece and then fire it all in my little hobby kiln at home. With every piece I make, I hope that it will be a joy to use; to eat your toast from the plate that has your child's Hand Print on it; to share afternoon tea with pals using a colourful individually-designed Cake Plate; to drink hot chocolate from the Mug with your name on it......your mug!
