Introduction	I'm just one more white girl going to teach English in China. I thought I was doing something new and radical! Not. I've now come to realize I'm just a little late on the "Teaching English in China" bandwagon. (It's ok though because I'm bringing back the word "tubular.") It all started on a cold day in February 2011 in Rexburg, Idaho. I saw an ad in the BYU-Idaho campus newspaper calling for English teachers. Right then and there, on the second/third floor landing of the Hinckley building, I said "I'm going! I don't care what my parents say!" I told my parents a couple weeks later that China was next for me. I believe my exact words were, "There is nothing you can say or do to stop me." I decided it was time to scare myself silly and not back out of a crazy decision. And now, I find myself in China.
