| Introduction | Me-In no particular order, doctor, educator, wife, mother, advocate, daughter, friend, CEO. Mother of six adopted from foster care, all with special needs. Vandy grad with a resume that grows often. Career educator with no desire to control adults yet EVERY desire to control adults who make decisions affecting children. Advocate for too many areas of social injustice. Moderate a constant battle between my heart & mouth and the roles I play that prefer my silence. Always working -real jobs & undercover. I’m loyal but I’ll shine a light on what happens in the dark, even if it puts my life on the line. I use humor as a drug, have 96% accuracy with my .38 special, & don’t recommend betting your life on my 4% error rate. In addition, I surround myself with large dogs with large teeth, & I’m not afraid of anything. Add that to my years of experience, & I’ve earned the right to say & do what I want. The faint of heart should back out slowly now & run as fast as possible in the opposite direction. Those who have walked in my shoes, & I know you are out there, it’s time. I won’t be silent any longer. Take a stand with me if you will. |
