| Introduction | I have faced death right in the eyes and so far, although it looked right back at me, hasn't won my existence. Born into a hopeless life of alcoholism, I became a drug addict, a food addict, developed OCD, was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, arthritis and high blood pressure. Everyday seems a possibility for yet something new and exciting to attach itself to my being. Of course, things don't stay the same forever and in my case change has happened over and over again. I became sober in 1979, got married to a honey, gave birth to my daughter, cleared the Hepatitis C virus and am working on weight issues along with my OCD behaviors. I guess my blog is about being a drug addict, contracting a deadly virus and being alive to talk about it. My goal in life is to tell the world there is life beyond those things that can kill us if we let them. With prayer, hard work and hope. Lots of hope. |
