| Introduction | I started out trying to be a signwriter, and with lots of graphic touches being needed. Problems! Really needed some system for producing quick and easy professional looking artwork, and not being a natural born artist had some difficulties. Managed to grab me an Amiga 500. Anyhow after much experimenting, and much grief, came up with a system for creating pop art style images from photos. Then converting to basic outline printouts. Chalked the backs and traced to the board. So by the time I set brush to board very little could go wrong. The results were surprising. In recent years I have taken to comic style, pop art actually. Being as pop art was first created by signwriters, mainly for logo style advertising, ease and high turnover. Am just honoured to continue the tradition. |
