About me

Introduction	The Unwrapped Fish wishes to thank those who’ve schooled him from his days as a fingerling and helped him to look at life as an aquarium full of clownfish: Thanks to my mother, who employed irrefutable logic like “We better take quarters, since we might need our jackets.” To my dad the teacher, who once told his class to study chapter 18 while he filled out their grades-- and then proceeded to roll dice with A, B, C, D and F marked on them. To Jean Shepherd, author and raconteur, who gave us Ralphie Parker, The Old Man, and Flick. To Richard Feynman, the funniest physicist to win the Nobel Prize, and the best safe cracker at Los Alamos. (Thank God he was on our side). To our kids, and our future grandchildren-- who I plan to indoctrinate with advice like “Leave the lights on at ALL times,” “NEVER change the empty toilet paper roll,” and “Why do your homework now, when you have plenty of time to do it later?” And to my lovely wife, who prefaces most things she tells me with “And I don’t want you writing about this, either...”
