| Introduction | I've had a lifelong interest in working with textiles and threads, even though I pursued a career as a planner and urban designer. When the time and opportunity to work towards a City & Guilds Diploma in Embroidery came I took it and studied at Missenden Abbey. This expanded my interest in textiles and mixed media. I create original textiles using techniques such as paper lamination, felting, hand dyeing and printing on cloth on which I stitch. |
