| Introduction | What do two people do after seventeen months of world travel? We knew we would have to answer this question eventually. Over the months we became more aware of what we might want after our journey and so settled upon the opportunity to open a cafe in France. Oradour Sur Vayres in Limousin, South West Central France is where we are. A local place for local people, with more than one comparasin to Royston Vaisey! The cafe, when it eventually opens later on this year will be our first venture into self employment and our first attempt to settle anywhere. We are already three months in, the renovations are slowly taking shape, the administration has taken on ridiculously complex existence of its own. We are often in two minds. Life here is not how we thought it would be...for the moment. We are slightly uneasy with the clash between our expectation and our reality, but they tell us these things take time.
