This person was left behind in Guam when their parents moved to the U.S. The person did not stay long on Guam. They built a boat out of pig bones found on the beach and sailed to Easter Island, where they befriended the Moai, who looked over the person after they chose to raise themselves. Those were the salad days, but without egg.
