| Introduction | Yes,finally have I put fingers to the keyboard in response to the encouragement of family and friends. I just love the written word,and many a times I find myself fading out in a conversation(with the husband,lol), trying to find the most appropiate word/phrase to perfectly describe a moment......Art and food does that to me too,and it takes me to places I can only imagine. Maybe it's just too much of watching Masterchef, but I believe that one does what one loves......And as an educator, I need to be inspired too. As a teacher, I find one has to be the motivator and to give of oneself is a requirement of the trade. So, when inspirational and motivational speakers come along,it becomes a time for recharging my batteries.....so,come along the Mufti Menks and Shaykh Ninowis of the world. I am ready and waiting.....Oh and I cant ignore the other passion of my life: Poetry......I always think of poetry as "taking me up to the seven heavens and casting me all the way down again,lol. |
