| Introduction | Building a straw bale house has been a dream of mine for the longest time. I somehow managed to convince my hubby Bill to join me on this crazy journey. Although by no means perfect at living a sustainable, green life, we are aiming to improve all the time. I am currently at a cross roads in my career and looking to change. My passion is Permaculture and all things related so it would be awesome to work in this field in my own business. We have been patiently working towards our goal of building our straw bale home and with the help of our special friend Pete we are finally realising our dream and therefore the next step in our Journey. Bill works for the Zinc Works in Hobart but would love to ideally scale back his hours and pursue more interesting passions such as building things from home. This is our aim: to live as sustainably as possible, grow most of our own food, share our surplus and work from home. A simpler life for better health and well-being. Along the way we would love to teach and help others with similar goals and mind-sets. |

| Favorite Books | Diana Gabaldon's Cross Stitch Series, any gardening or permaculture books, strawbale building books, cookbooks, pottery and knitting, etc, etc |
