| Introduction | The title is inspired by a young man named Joe, who I am a PCA for. In my first year of working with him, my birthday rolled around and he said to me, "Oh - it was your birthday? I'm sorry. Happy Birthday, Babe!" Stunned, I said, "Did you just call me babe?" Without skipping a beat, Joe nodded and replied, "Yeah. It was my gift word to you." He proceeded to call me 'babe' multiple times that day, as a birthday gift to me. Joe, among other people and things, amuses me on a daily basis. This blog is about those things, and it is my gift to you. |
