| Introduction | I have always been passionate about the outdoors, whether it be trail running, hiking, camping, or just generally exploring. However, my two main focal points are bird dogs and the river. Growing up in Oregon I was immediately drawn to the river as a kayaker and fisherman. Kayaking took me around the world, winning the World Freestyle Kayak Championships, and U.S. National Championships. Now my passion for the river is very much the same, although these days I spend most of my time fishing it, rather than kayaking it. My love for bird dogs is very unique. They fascinate and inspire me. For me there is nothing better than walking the high desert and open grass lands behind pointing dogs. Join me as a travel the high country in pursuit of the kind of adventures that you can only experience in wide open spaces. |
