| Introduction | Ben Eastman aka EaSTMaN is a producer, sound engineer, and DJ originally from Toronto, Canada. At the age of 16, his mother's works uprooted his family to London. After studying piano for a few months, EaSTMaN began writing songs at age 12. Like many surrounded by negative influences, EaSTMaN found music as an outlet of his anxiety and gave him the opportunity to express his otherwise reserved personality creatively. When EaSTMaN met Amzo upon his arrival in London his interest in the production side of music was spurred. Where initially he was writing raps over other people's beats, now EaSTMaN was discovering ways to translate the original melodies swirling in his head to actual literal tracks. Constantly listening and growing stylistically EaSTMan says his unique sound comes from a huge variety of musical inspirations ranging form Pink Floyd and Metallica to Dr. Dre or Just Blaze. That mixed with the booming European house scene give EaSTMaN a distinct and diverse sound all of his own. |
