| Introduction | I am a journalist currently pursuing a master's degree in Middle East Politics at SOAS, University of London. I was based mostly in Tunisia and briefly in Libya for three years after the 2011 uprising. I have contributed reporting, analysis and narrative non-fiction from Tunisia and Libya for numerous print, radio and television outlets, including Foreign Policy, NPR, BBC, The Atlantic Council and The Independent.
