Introduction PhD, Associate Professor, English Language and Literature UMUC, Asia Geri leftLebanon last year rafter living there for 3 years. She has accepted a position in the Asia Division of the University of Maryland, University College. Prior to that, she lived in Lithuania for 4 years, working as chair of the English department for LCC International University. She also taught English, Philosophy, and History of Theater in Amman, Jordan, Bahrain. She spent her early years in Jamaica, W. I., and attended universities in Oklahoma and Nebraska. While attending graduate school to obtain an MM (music) and an MA (English) and her PhD, English, Medieval Studies, she taught piano and violin in Grand Island Nebraska and taught at the University of Nebraska, Kearney.
