| Introduction | This blog's name "The up-turned milk crate" is derived from an image of sitting on the last of the tables at the heavenly banquet (Isaiah 25:6). In the image the group at the last table will have up-turned milk crates to sit upon - there being no longer any ornate chairs available. Humbly, to match the up-turned milk crate will be plastic cutlery and plastic drinking cups. Other tables nearer the King will have the finest silverware. To be at the last table is no slur - the everlasting joy would be that by God's grace I'd made it to heaven. There will be many on the tables ahead of me who are more worthy of their place. Please make your acquaintance once we are at the banquet. This blog will have passed away. |
