| Introduction | I believe in Jesus. My whole life centers on that fact. I grew up in church, but that doesn't mean much. I didn't fully experience Christ until my sophomore year in high school. Sure, I'd done quiet times, Friday night Bible studies, and I was at church every time the doors were open (and then some). There was a time in my life where I struggled with rebellion against my parents, and ultimately against God. One night, I got fed up with how I was living, and I opened up my Bible. It was as if I had brand new eyes! Though I had been saved at a young age, I'd never experienced Christ so fully. The Holy Spirit led me through so many passages where people cried out to God and He helped them. I read the entire New Testament and Psalms in one night! I highlighted, cross-referenced, and poured out all of my thoughts to God. It was that night I knew that I had truly encountered His love for me, and my life has never been the same. |
