Introduction Hi! My friends call me Dee. I'm the mother of an awesome son and we love to read! I'm an animal, nature and old car lover. I also enjoy writing and have created this oft neglected blog. Did I mention that being a mother of an awesome son is very time consuming? Applying due diligence to this blog is on my 'to do' list, it just hasn't made it to the top yet... The topics I've blogged about so far have all fallen into one of the categories listed above. I have personal political views, but I rarely write on that topic. Too many lines in the sand have been drawn keeping too many otherwise good people on opposing sides. I love Jesus and praise God openly. I advocate education for ALL people, especially our children. This especially includes both underprivileged and special needs kids. They all have so very much potential and so much they can offer and become, if only someone helps them along and cares... I am a natural born peace keeper. And it's not just lip service when I say I try to evoke harmony and goodwill between everyone. After all, life is short. Visit me on facebook! Wishing you all love, peace and God's blessings!

For your birthday, your aunt gave you a maple syrup dispenser shaped like a rooster. Please write her a thank-you note:
