| Introduction | I have been interested in art from the time I was a small child; and it seemed natural for me to pursue this field into college. It was an exciting time of my life, very creative and challenging. Although I earned a degree in fine arts with a teaching certificate, I never found work in the teaching field. Instead I transitioned into the commercial graphics field; and have worked in various graphic positions in California and Washington state for over twenty years. I enjoy illustrating many subjects, especially the figure and fantasy themes. Currently, I am pursuing my original passion for art as a means of creative expression; and work in the book illustration field and licensing. I am a member of a local art league, and often participate in league art shows, as well as gallery shows. My husband and I live in Washington state near the Hood Canal Bridge. We have one adult son. |
