Introduction	I am one progressive Christian hoping to shed light on what that means. I don't represent all progressive Christians, but I have much in common with other progressive Christians I know. I embrace diversity and am convinced that if we could all strive to live compassionate lives, loving others and looking out for all who are oppressed in this world, our world would be a far better place. I'm also convinced people can live such lives without necessarily following or even knowing about Jesus.
