Introduction	From 2005 to 2018, I wrote this blog, the title of which was a play on my son's then-diagnosis, Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified, or PDD-NOS, an autism spectrum diagnosis that is no longer used. I pulled the blog out of the public domain in 2020, fearing that some of its content might be invasive to my now-adult son or filled with dated information that would be unhelpful to new readers.
